Innovation is a core pillar to our operation and culture.  We encourage new ideas and continuous development, and we support our colleagues in delving into a topic that they can than elaborate and even implement.

In this spirit, we organised the 10th Pataki Contest, named after the former chief engineer of our site in Körmend and an advocate for innovation dr. Károly Pataki. 24 projects were submitted for the contest. The online event included the 12 selected presentations and five poster presentations in diverse topics from innovative R&D solutions through ideas on production to digitalisation.

Ezeknek a témáknak a kidolgozását az Egis támogatja, az elképzelések megvalósulása pedig a vállalat fejlődését, jövőbeni sikereit is szolgálja.

In his opening speech, dr. István Hodász stressed that it is proven year by year that our colleagues enjoy working on creative and innovative professional projects on top of their daily tasks. Egis supports these ideas, and their implementation serves the company’s development and future goals as well.
